Kanye West says Cardi B can’t write her raps, calls her a member of Illuminati

A video featuring rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has been widely circulated on the social media platform X, previously Twitter. In the video, Ye criticises record labels and leaks his contract with the Universal Music Group. The clip seems to be from a documentary where Ye also criticises Cardi B and Atlantic Records.

In the clip, Kanye West alleges that Cardi B is a ‘plant by the Illuminati’. He accuses Cardi B of not writing her own raps and being there to ‘sound as ignorant as possible’. Ye says, “She doesn’t write her raps. She’s just there to sound as ignorant as possible. She’s literally replaced Nicki Minaj purposelyâ€æ She thinks it’s a blessing from the universe, it ain’t no f***** blessing.”

He also criticised Tayana Taylor, Nas, and Pusha T, claiming they are ungrateful for his help.

However, in response, Cardi B shared a clip of Ye praising her on X. In that video, he can be heard saying, “I’ve always believed in her since she was on the show.”

Cardi B is currently working on her next album, which is set for release next year. Ye is known for his controversial statements and actions, including interrupting Taylor Swift’s MTV VMA speech a few years ago to declare Beyonce as the better artist.
