Lady Gaga is one of the most famous people on the planet, but she’s not into having a big entourage. In fact, she prefers to keep her circle small and values her alone time. Although she has developed an interesting career in film, where she will soon be seen in the sequel to Joker, Gaga’s passion is to create music.

In a recent interview with Wallpaper magazine, the 13-time Grammy winner revealed, “I’m actually really interested in living more of a life of solitude. It’s really nice to just have time to be alone, and be expansive, and know that you’re enough. I wish I could tell my younger self that.”

Lady Gaga credits her love of solitude to her early days spent writing music alone. “When I was younger, I spent a lot of time alone writing music. But the more successful I became, the more I felt like I needed other people to tell me I was great,” she said.

Despite her fame, Lady Gaga’s intentions with music have always been focused on the craft and not the rewards that come with it. “If I wasn’t successful in the way that I am today – I’m very grateful for my success – I’d still be doing it. Absolutely, 100%,” she said.

Lady Gaga even has a quote from a book by Rainer Maria Rilke tattooed on her arm, which reads, “Must I write?” She says: “It’s a reminder to always prioritize my passion for music”.

While she might appear at glitzy events, Lady Gaga spends most of her time working on her music at home. “That’s the thing that really makes me happy,” she said.

Gaga believes that love and kindness are more important than fame and fortune: “The most important things are love and kindness. Kindness is what will create harmony, not celebrity and not fame,” she said.

Lady Gaga’s words are a reminder that it’s important to take care of ourselves and prioritize our mental and emotional well-being, even in a world where success and fame are highly valued.
