Set on a sprawling 45 hectares, Nicole and her husband Keith Urban‘s Southern Highlands estate boasts traditional sandstone verandahs, pressed metal ceilings, a grand carved cedar staircase and 10 original marble fireplaces.

Since buying the property, Keith and Nicole have installed an 18-metre swimming pool, a gym and a full-sized tennis court. The home is also surrounded by large grass mounds to block out prying eyes.

Earlier this year, the couple ramped up security at their Southern Highlands estate with a gatehouse manned by security guards.

They were granted approval for a gatehouse at the Bunya Hill farm which will cost $32,450.

The application approved by Wingecarribee Council explains the ‘property owners need to have security guards on the premises when they’re at home,’ according to the Daily Telegraph.

Back in 2015, Nicole gave a tour of her idyllic farmhouse for a video released by Vogue where she answered 73 rapid-fire questions.

At the very beginning of the nearly-nine minute clip, Nicole is sitting on her porch as she greets the cameraman with a ‘G’day mate, welcome to Australia.’

Though the two places she resides, Sydney and Nashville, seem like drastically different places the actress believes they have one thing in common; that the people are the coolest part about living there.

After answering a few questions in the library, she walks through the kitchen then sits on the arm of a couch in the family room to answer even more queries.

During the quick sit-down, she was asked what was the coolest part about her home to which she responded ‘My six alpacas.’

She then walks through the kitchen area again into the dining area where she accidentally trips over a toy on the ground before walking outside to reveal even more of her large property.

They walk into a small cottage on a property as she confesses she would have Keith as a guest in the tiny house and she would have coffee with Eleonor Roosevelt if she could have coffee with any historical figure.

She then walks toward the farming area of the home as the aforementioned alpacas could be seen in the background. Nicole then picks up a couple of eggs out of a nesting box.

Nicole and Keith purchased the sprawling 45-hectare property back in 2008 for $6.5million, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

The sub-penthouse pad boasts two bedrooms and an incredible Harbour views thanks to a wide balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows that line the living room.

The sleek apartment also has a modern kitchen and access to a heated pool, gym and sauna.

The Hollywood couple also own a $2.68million 19th-floor apartment in the block, which they use as a home office when they’re in Sydney.

Her four apartments in the Latitude building, like her Southern Highlands farm Bunya Hill, are all held in company name.

Nicole hasn’t owned property in her own name since 1993 when she bought her younger sister, Antonia, a one-bedroom apartment in Mosman for $81,000.
