When Metallica returned with their new single “Lux Aeterna” earlier this week, fans were quick to praise the band’s musical direction, with a special mention to Kirk Hammett’s lead guitar work.While the guitarist’s solos were heavily criticized on the band’s previous album “Hardwired… to Self-Destruct”, fans felt that Hammett was back in shape on the new song.
