Miley Cyrus showed off her figure in a stylish retro outfit when she stepped out in Los Angeles today.

The singer and actress wore a black bodice under a boxy orange jacket with some high-waisted ankle-length jeans to go and get some pizza.

While the 19-year-old’s outfit looked great as she left the venue in Los Angeles, it had been a different story when she pulled up at the restaurant.

The jeans had clearly been too uncomfortable for the star when she was driving to the pizza joint, and she was seen stepping out of her car with her jeans entirely unbuttoned.

The Hannah Montana star left her silver convertible looking at ease as she displayed the rolled-down stonewashed denim.

When she realised the cameras had spied her faux-pas, she covered her flies as she fixed the situation.

However the mishap did nothing to dampen the star’s spirits and she was seen smiling from ear to ear as she and a friend made their way back to Miley’s vehicle after grabbing a bit to eat.

The Tennessee-born teen topped off her figure-hugging look with black ballet pumps, a black satchel with gold studs and some round sunglasses.

Miley was also showing off her latest haircut along with her vintage inspired outfit.

She has recently chopped her longer locks into a shorter and sleeker bob.

The brunette debuted the new hairdo, which frames her face, over the weekend.

The teenager posted a picture to her Twitter account along with the caption: ‘Got ANOTHER hair cut! You likey?!’

But it seems the reception may have been a little frosty, as she quipped: ‘All y’all are saying its soooo short! Only cut about an inch & a half off tonight! In total about 5 inches!!! I love it! So liberating!’

She was seen the following day showing off her chop as she stepped out to the Farmers market with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

She had let her new tresses do the talking and wore a simple outfit in the form of denim Daisy Duke shorts, black motorcycle boots and a white billowing top.
