But they got a little more than they bargained for when Lady Gaga left her Buenos Aires hotel in a revealing, floral leotard on Wednesday.

Met by a sea of adoring fans as she continued the South American leg of her tour, the global superstar went braless in the gaping leotard, leaving little to the imagination.

Walking along in the sunshine, in true Gaga style, the star stopped to chat to her legions of fans, revealing slightly more than they may have anticipated as she leant over the barriers.

The tight leotard, which barely preserved her modesty, was matched with a pair of baggy, high-waisted blue jeans.

Clinched in at the waist, the vintage trousers cut an unflattering shape for the star, although she pulled it off with her usual air of confident charm.

To add some height to her tiny frame, Gaga wore a pair of typically towering platform heels.

She walked confidently in the black, studded, skyscraper shoes which were as eccentric as you’d expect from the worldwide superstar.

Wearing her light brown hair long and wavy, the 26-year-old singer added a pair of large, black sunglasses to her outfit.

Gaga performed in Brazil last Saturday and is now gearing up for her forthcoming show in Argentina on Friday.

The star seemed touched by the level of support she experienced in South America, taking to Twitter to say:

‘Good story: monster in brazil gave me a necklace engraved with lyrics from The Manifesto of Little Monsters. Have never toured there :),’ she wrote.

‘Its amazing how small films i made became cult gems for you and even made there way to countries I’ve never been to. SA really is inspiring,’ (sic) she continued.
