She has become infamous for her quirky costumes which have included outfits made out of pieces of meat, Kermit the frogs and Hello Kitty toys.

And Lady Gaga didn’t disappoint her London fans on Sunday as she stepped out in a white mini dress made up of bubble blowing machines.

The 27-year-old singer left a trail of bubbles in her wake as she tottered down a Camden street in vertiginous platform heels.

I’m forever blowing bubbles: Lady Gaga outdoes herself in a white bubble mini dress made of bubble blowing machines as she leaves The Roundhouse in London on Sunday night

Sporting rounded sunglasses which artfully matched a swirly coloured bubble hue in the light, the star looked pleased as punch with the effect she was creating as she left venue The Roundhouse following a performance as part of the iTunes festival.

The star also wore a ring in her nose and rather unflattering mousy short wig and subtle make-up, also requiring help from two assistants as she strolled down the street.

But even after an energetic performance which saw her sport a sea shell bra and thong she was still in the mood to party, swapping her dress for a boxy grey wool double breasted coat.

The singer appears to be fond of a bubble dress, having famously worn one during a concert tour back in 2009.

Now four years on, she is busy promoting her new album ARTPOP and appeared in her usual array of eye catching outfits on stage at The Roundhouse.

One minute she was a black-haired ninja complete with balaclava and eighties powerhouse shoulderpads, the next she looked like a nymph of the sea with a shell bikini top and a seaweed encrusted thong.

At the show – which was the first gig in the 20 day calendar of the iTunes Festival – fans watched Gaga perform a few of her most famous songs as well as tracks from her upcoming album including Jewels & Drugs, Sex Dreams and ballad I Wanna Be With You.

‘I can’t believe it’s finally here!’ she wrote on Twitter before the performance. ‘Tonight I premiere/perform 7 new songs from ARTPOP! On a scale of 1 to 10 how excited are you Monsters?’

Earlier in the week, the world was treated to a sneak peek of her latest song Manicure, which she debuted at the festival, via a rehearsal video posted to the star’s YouTube page.

The Applause singer, born as Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, engaged in a choreographed dance routine with her backup crew, who writhed and contorted around her in a sultry and sweaty rendition.

At one point her backup performers raised their arms over their heads and sensually swayed in a wave motion as the pop star unleashed her vocal power with startling force – proving that festival goers are in for a rare treat.

Die hard fans made themselves known outside the venue, dressing up in typical Gaga fashion, taking inspiration from the singer’s most famous get-ups.

And to celebrate her new song Swine, many fans donned pig noses and held up signs that said ‘#swinefest2013’.

On Wednesday she released a minute long snippet of her new song Swine. The lyrics include, ‘I know, I know, I know, I know you want me. You’re just a pig inside a human body. Squeal, squeal, squeal…You’re just a pig inside, swine.’

She later added a few more Swine lyrics onto her Twitter account: ‘Maybe I should have a little more. Just to stay out of my mind? ‘Cause it’s when I’m not thinkin’ with you. That I act like a swine.’

Artpop will be released on November 11, while the iTunes festival continue throughout September with Elton John, Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry among the line-up.
