A baseless rumor on social media claims Miley Cyrus is pregnant and is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Maxx Morando in 2023. That has sent fans into a tizzy!

After Flowers, her record-breaking song, gave rise to several speculations surrounding her past relationship with Liam Hemsworth, another song, River, is being quoted by fake reports to convince fans she has a bun in her oven.

The 29-year-old singer was recently in the news when her song co-written by her godmother Dolly Parton, called Rainbowland, was banned at a Wisconsin school.

Now, the lyrics of Miley Cyrus‘ new song have stirred conversations about her personal life yet again.

Rumor alleging Miley’s pregnancy was started by a fan page on Twitter on Wednesday, March 29. The tweet posted by the account features pictures of Miley and Maxx with a caption claiming to be “Breaking News”.

It reads: “According to Brandi, Miley Cyrus is officially pregnant and expecting her first child with Maxx.”

However, the tweet doesn’t reveal the idenтιтy of Brandi, who is supposedly aware of Miley’s alleged pregnancy.

“Cyrus would have already made her pregnancy explicit in an excerpt of her new single “River”, and this is the reason [for] her disappearance,” it further claims.

But, neither Miley nor Maxx have addressed these rumors, let alone confirm them. Furthermore, there isn’t any official statement from either of their reps or verified news outlets to even believe the above rumor.

The Party in the USA singer and her 24-year-old rocker boyfriend have reportedly been dating since the end of 2021.

The fan account has used the lyrics of River, which was released on March 13, to justify its claims about Miley being pregnant.

However, the lyrics don’t in any which way imply the same. They go as below:

“Blowing bubbles in the bath, I can’t stop from thinking lately
You could be the one, have the honor of my babies
Hope they have your eyes and that crooked smile
Was a desert ‘fore I met you, I was in a drought”

The singer talks about sharing kids with her romantic partner, who “could be the one”, while imagining the features of the hypothetical baby.

Therefore, there is no truth to any of the rumors about Miley and Maxx.

The viral tweet, with over 800,000 views, has turned fans restless as they are desperate to hear from Miley herself, although the chances of her paying heed to such ridiculous speculations are highly unlikely.

“Miley Cyrus is pregnant? I need to see her on tour once again before she retires, please! Stream River,” wrote one fan.

Another wrote: “Miley Cyrus is pregnant??? My brain can’t process..”

“If Miley Cyrus is really pregnant, I’m going to cry! I love her,” tweeted a third fan.
