JASON Kelce has become an icon of American sport, but his new nickname isn’t the most flattering.

Jason made a surprise appearance at WWE WrestleMania in Philadelphia.

And one announcer leapt on the chance to deliver a timely joke.

The amusing quip was, “Isn’t that whatshername’s brother-in-law?”

Unless you’ve been living on another planet for the last six months, you will know that the relationship between Jason’s brother Travis and singing superstar Swift has dominated both the news and sports pages.

Swift, sometimes along with Jason, attended a number of Kansas City Chiefs to watch Travis last season.

That culminated with February’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas, when Swift watched Travis and his Chiefs team beat the San Francisco 49ers.

Jason himself has recently retired from football after a glittering career with the Philadelphia Eagles.

He’s certainly been enjoying himself since, with WrestleMania his latest stop.

The 36-year-old, along with his former teammate Lane Johnson, secretly crashed the match between Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar.

The two were adorning Philadelphia Eagles headpieces that covered their faces in an attempt to remain low-key.

But the moment of excitement had to come and the pair removed their masks and matching black tank tops to reveal their identities.

Broadcaster Pat McAfee said, “Welcome to Wrestlemania, Philadelphia Eagles.”

McAfee, 36, then belted out Swift’s hit song “22” before clarifying, “Is that who you are talking about?”

Jason was in tears last month when announcing his retirement following 13 seasons with the Eagles.

The center was part of the Eagles team that won a first ever Super Bowl for the franchise, beating the New England Patriots in Minneapolis in 2018.

“Thirteen seasons in Philadelphia and I look back on a career of ups and downs,” he said.

“I loved football, whether it was in the backyard with my brother, on the playground with my friends.”

“I am very proud knowing where I was once was and the legacy I have left behind,” he said.

Jason will now focus on his family and media interests, which includes presenting the podcast New Heights with Travis.

Travis has been spending time with Swift in the offseason, before he’ll start to prepare for a new season with the Chiefs.

Kansas City will be aiming for a third successive Super Bowl and a fourth in six seasons in 2024.
