WWE’s newest sensation Tiffany Stratton had another impressive showing on SmackDown this week. One of the star’s signature moves was praised by industry veteran Dutch Mantell.

The match between Stratton and Naomi ended in a no-contest as Nia Jax emerged and attacked Bayley and Naomi. Stratton used this to her advantage as she lined up the two babyfaces and hit them with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, sending out a message that she deserves to be in the title picture.

On this week’s episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Smack Talk, Mantell claimed that he liked the finish of the match. He felt it was a great way to make Nia Jax look strong as the newest addition to SmackDown.

“It was a DQ but they covered that DQ up. And then when she lined them both up, they made Nia Jax look like a killer which I think, that’s what she’s supposed to look like anyway. There’s nothing she can’t do to look like a killer. She’s not the finest wrestler.”

Mantell was also impressed by how Tiffany took advantage of the situation and laid out Naomi and Bayley for the second week in a row.

“Then Tiffany Stratton, she hit that backflip, beautiful. I’m thinking, ‘Wait a minute, she’s laying them close together so that makes her knees go back out farther.’ And she did. She’s done that before. But she did it, nobody got hurt. I though that was a good spot.” [From 58:00 onwards]

After the encounter, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis decided that the WWE Women’s Championship match at Backlash would be a Triple Threat featuring Bayley, Naomi, and Tiffany Stratton.

It will be interesting to see if The Role Model can hold on to the title if the odds are stacked against her.

Tiffany Stratton was on the receiving end of a message from WWE Superstar Izzi Dame.

On the latest edition of SmackDown, Stratton made another bold statement, as she once again got the last laugh over Bayley and Naomi. The Buff Barbie’s gear from this week’s show also caught the attention of the WWE Universe, with many people suggesting that she paid tribute to Carmella.

Taking to X/Twitter, Dame expressed her frustration regarding the same. In the past, the 24-year-old star has also channeled her inner Carmella but was criticized for it.

“It’s cool when they do it, problem when I do it.”

What the future has in store for The Buff Barbie remains to be seen.

Former World Heavyweight Champion Booker T believes that WWE should put a title on Tiffany Stratton. According to the veteran, the 24-year-old star would be the fastest-rising champion in the business.

While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about Stratton’s rise in the Stamford-based promotion. He concluded by stating that the former NXT Women’s Champion was ready for a big push.

“That person is ‘WWE SmackDown’ star Tiffany Stratton. I’m going to tell you right now, if Tiffany won the championship, she would be the fastest rising champion in the history of the business, I really do. The thing is, I think she’s ready for it. I really do, I think you can pull the trigger with Tiffany Stratton right now and you will not regret it, I really believe that,” Booker T said. [H/T WrestlingINC]

Since moving up to the main roster, Stratton has been an integral part of the SmackDown women’s division. She will now get her chance to win a title at the upcoming Backlash Premium Live Event in Lyon, France.

Following the turn of events on the latest episode of SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis confirmed a Triple Threat Match between Stratton, Naomi, and Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship. This will be The Role Model’s second title defense since winning the belt at WrestleMania XL.
