Alan Ritchson Had A Rough Day On The ‘Reacher’ Set & Blamed ‘Uninhabitable Toronto Weather’

Alan Ritchson shared photos from a tough day on the Reacher set and the actor is blaming the cold snap in Toronto.

Ritchson is back in Ontario filming Season 3 of the Amazon Prime show and he’s been giving fans updates on how it’s going.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Ritchson, who plays Jack Reacher in the show, shared a carousel of pictures from the set.

“You’re playing Reacher. You started filming the season in the summer, but a strike pushed you into the bitter cold of an uninhabitable Toronto winter. As a result, the driving scenes aren’t so drivey anymore,” he wrote and one photo shows him next to a snow plow.

“You’re tasked with driving across a property that currently only exists in your mind, while the camera pushes into your face through an invisible windshield and you’re blasted with the Golden Corral of bird food.”

Many Reacher fans are loving the updates from Ritchson, while others are poking fun at the fact that the actor has an issue with the Toronto weather.

“Uninhabitable Toronto winter???!!! I was born and raised there and work there right now. It’s not that cold; Alberta, NBC in the mountains are cold,” one person wrote.

“Welcome to the great white North,” another fan commented.

On Tuesday, Ritchson shared another photo from the set, confirming he was back in Ontario filming Season 3 of the show.

The cast had begun filming the third season in the summer of 2023 and production was scheduled to wrap in November.

However, the project was put on hold due to the Hollywood strikes. It’s now expected to wrap up in March 2024, according to Hollywood North Buzz.

It’s unclear at this point which other stars of the show will be returning to Season 3 as the Season 2 finale doesn’t air until January 19.
