It was revealed that Pratt was sitting close to The Octagon when he had to make a run for it as all hell broke loose with Nurmagomedov.

But when it came to fighters who have trained their whole lives, just like everyone else, he was afraid for his life.

And when he did face this threat, he had no other option but to make a run for it or pay the price. In a past interview, actress Megan Fox recalled the infamous ringside brawl between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor’s team, where everyone was trying to get away from that action, which also included Pratt, who knocked Fox’s agent down to get away.

Thus, during the night of UFC 229, every film star and other celebrities ran for their lives when things got out of hand pretty quickly.

In a past interview, actress Megan Fox opened up about her experience sitting ringside at the UFC PPV event in 2018, when Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov jumped over the cage and started blasting Conor McGregor‘s team. Since no one wanted to get mortally wounded during the scuffle, everyone nearby started to make a run for it, including her.

She revealed that in her row, she also saw celebrities like Justin Beiber and Donald Trump sitting down and, later, running away when everything started to go downhill. In the midst of all this, the Transformers star’s agents were escorting her away to safety when she happened to be searching for her agent Carol, who was left behind.

When she looked back, she saw her getting knocked down in the chaos that ensued, and the one who accidentally knocked her down was none other than Chris Pratt himself. This was a natural response to the fight or flight instinct, where the crowd was just going nuts and trying any way to escape.

The infamous brawl that shocked everyone witnessing UFC 229 was the result of several combustible factors just mixing at the right time, which led to Nurmagomedov’s burst of rage.

Since the rivalry’s inception almost a year before the fight, both fighters had bad blood between them, which was only boiling until the night of the fight. Just when McGregor tapped out, it seemed like his friend Dillon Danis screamed something at Nurmagomedov, which caused him to lose his temper and jump over the cage to put him in his place.
