Lady Gaga shines in sheer lace dress despite the rain (and umbrellas are optional)

Despite the rainy conditions, Lady Gaga did not let the weather stop her from attending her book launch, she arrived in her usual unique and bold fashion. The 25-year-old singer stood out in a see-through lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana, with black underwear and long leather gloves. She strutted in high platform shoes, while shielding herself with an umbrella held by her assistant. Watch the video below to see more of her daring outfit.

Lady Gaga fearlessly defied the rainy weather at the book launch of LADY GAGA x TERRY RICHARDSON in New York, showing up in a stunning sheer Dolce & Gabbana lace dress. Known for her bold fashion choices, Gaga’s couture always seems to ignore the rules and embrace a sense of adventure. Teaming up with the renowned fashion photographer Terry Richardson, Gaga’s latest project is a new book featuring unseen photos captured during Richardson’s year-long journey alongside the singer. Titled LADY GAGA x TERRY RICHARDSON, the book won’t be available until November 22, but Gaga’s ‘little monsters’ got a taste of what’s to come in a sneak peek video where she reads an excerpt.

Strutting confidently: The 25-year-old singer confidently walked in a pair of flashy platform heels adorned with gold studs. Gaga has been quite active in New York in the past day. Just last night, she surprised everyone by showing up at the International Emmys wearing a stunning long black dress with a daring thigh-high slit. She also had the honor of presenting American Idol’s executive producer Nigel Lythgoe with an International Emmy Founders Award for his outstanding work on reality shows. Prior to that, the famous American artist attended the grand opening of GAGA’S WORKSHOP at Barneys New York. This unique workshop takes up the entire fifth floor of the Madison Avenue Men’s store, covering 5500 square feet. Each section of the workshop is creatively designed, like a jewellery shop crafted in the form of a giant Lady Gaga spider, and a boudoir shaped like a massive wig.

Always prepared to strike a pose: A handler holds an umbrella high above the celebrity as she confidently walks for the cameras. Collaborating with the team at Barneys New York, Eli Sudbrack and avaf have created impressive sculpture installations and unique artwork for GAGA’S WORKSHOP, which is prominently featured on exclusive holiday shopping bags and packaging. GAGA’S WORKSHOP consists of eight stations representing different product categories available for purchase, each with a touch of Lady Gaga’s iconic style. The stations include a Candy Shop, Toy Shop, Closet (offering apparel and accessories), Library (featuring books, CDs, media, and paper goods), Gallery (for collectibles and specialty items), Jewellery, Boudoir (for candles and cosmetics), and Holiday. As part of their initiative, Barneys New York will be generously donating 25% of the sales proceeds from all items in GAGA’S WORKSHOP to the Born This Way Foundation, a charitable organization recently launched by Lady Gaga and her mother.

Transparent: The upcoming book will unveil exclusive photographs of Lady Gaga captured by acclaimed fashion photographer Richardson for the first time.
