“We just need to kill a few more people,” Alan Ritchson’s Jack Reacher, tied to a chair and seemingly injured, sneers at New Age security head Shane Langston (Robert Patrick) in a new teaser video dropped by the streaming platform ahead of the Reacher Season 2 finale on Friday.

The 30-second-long video, released on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, comes with the caption “The final blow is going to hit the hardest”.

Packed with high-octane action scenes, the teaser shows Reacher taking on his enemies with the assistance of his former MP unit. After he chooses to meet Shane Langston, who captured his friends Karla Dixon (Serinda Swan) and David O’donnell (Shaun Sipos), Reacher is brought to the New Age premises under tight security. But he soon breaks free and begins to eliminate the assailants. We also see him leaping at a helicopter as it takes off and breaking through a glass door.

Also featuring Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald, Chris Webster, Bruce McGill and Maria Sten in key roles, Reacher has been renewed for a third season, Ritchson announced on social media on Tuesday, sharing a behind-the-scenes picture of himself from the set.
“Welp… we’re back. Season 3 of Reacher… crustier than ever,” wrote the 41-year-old actor on Instagram on Tuesday.

Inspired from Lee Child’s eponymous book series. Reacher follows the adventures of a former US Army military policeman known for his formidable strength, intellect and abilities.

While the first season focused on the titular character’s investigation of a local conspiracy, Season 2 centres on the protagonist’s determination to avenge the mysterious death of his former colleagues.
