Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift ‘had their first ARGUMENT after Chiefs’ Christmas Day loss to the Raiders

A glum expression Travis Kelce was spotted leaving the Kansas City Chiefs’ team hotel on Saturday, amid reports that he and girlfriend Taylor Swift had their first fight.

Kelce and Swift reportedly had their first lovers’ tiff after the Chiefs’ loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day, after a rosy start to their fairytale romance.

The celebrity power couple has dominated headlines since Swift publicly confirmed their relationship by showing up at Arrowhead for the first time to watch Kelce play.

It has even been reported that they intend to marry this summer, with Travis planning to propose on their one-year anniversary in July.

But is there trouble in paradise?

Kelce’snapped’ at Swift on Christmas Day, according to Life & Style, during their first argument following the Chiefs’ loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

The NFL star is said to have let his emotions get the best of him after the loss at Arrowhead, leaving his girlfriend “hurt and confused.” During the loss, he was also seen on the sidelines throwing his helmet down in rage.

Kelce was seen leaving the Chiefs’ hotel with a stony expression in exclusive Dailymail.com photos as he left ahead of their crucial playoff game against the Miami Dolphins at Arrowhead.

According to a source, the fight ruined his and Taylor’s holidays because it was their first fight in five months together.

Swift’s stressful holiday season was followed by a contentious New York Times article that questioned her sexuality more than a week later.

Taylor’s friends were said to be upset about the opinion piece, which added to her tumultuous fortnight following her lovers’ squabble with Kelce.

Taylor is said to be beginning to recognize the difficulties that come with dating a high-profile athlete, with the pop sensation even seeking advice from fellow WAG Brittany Mahomes.

‘Brittany told Taylor to let Travis lick his wounds, but it wasn’t easy,’ according to the source.

Swift was reportedly a ‘nervous wreck’ the next time she attended a Chiefs game on New Year’s Eve, despite being seen kissing her boyfriend later that evening at a glitzy party.

The possibility of another Kansas City loss ruining their celebrations was a major concern for the singer and songwriter, but Kelce and company prevailed in a 25-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Constant travel is also believed to be a growing issue for Travis and Taylor as they clock up countless miles to visit one another across the globe.

Though while Kelce has jetted to Buenos Aires to watch his girlfriend’s concert and to New York to visit her in Tribeca, it’s Swift who has been travelling most to watch him in action for Kansas City.

The source described her as being ‘the one bending over backwards’ to make the relationship work, which is starting to take its toll with the honeymoon period now over.

Travis and Taylor are also reportedly clashing over work commitments, with a ‘teary-eyed’ Swift forced to take a backseat while her boyfriend’s focus was purely on football.

Things are said to get heated between them given their respective schedules, which works both ways with Swift also realizing that her career comes first.

Her introduction to the Kelce family has not been completely smooth, either.
