The British actor Judy Dench is back in the media spotlight with her medical condition.

The James Bond actor has been suffering from age-related macular degeneration (AMD) since 2012. She was forced to give up on her acting career due to her current medical condition.

Judy Dench is popularly known as the M16 chief M in the super spy James Bond series. During an interview with a media outlet, the actor spoke about her medical condition and mentioned the difficulties she has while reading the lines of a script. She said-

“I mean I can’t see on a film set anymore. And I can’t see to read. So I can’t see much. But you know you just deal with it. Get on. It’s difficult for me if I have any length of a part.

I haven’t yet found a way. Because I have so many friends who will teach me the script. But I have a photographic memory.”

“It’s the most terrible shock to the system,” she said previously. “Ghastly. It’s terrible to be so dependent on people.”

 “My husband said “you have got to do it, because I long to live with a Bond woman”!’
