Tensions appeared to be calming down as Brad Pitt quietly settled down with his new girlfriend, Ines De Ramon, but apparently domestic bliss is not enough to deter him from fighting Angelina Jolie.

The current point of contention is a winery they co-own, and the actor can’t be convinced to back down by any means.

The actor had a recent win when it comes to the dispute over the Chateau Miraval vineyard, but there hasn’t been an official ruling.

Brad Pitt wants to be awarded a controlling percentage to avoid the sale of Angelina Jolie’s half, based on the fact that, originally, he bought 60% of it and ceded 10% to the actress when they married.

The staggering amount of money he spent on fighting his ex wife for this shocked the world, but apparently, it’s not about the money for him, it’s about principles.

“This is all about standing up to bullies and defending his own people, principles and the truth. Brad is standing firm for what he believes in,” a source said, referring to Angelina and to Shefler, the Russian millionaire that wants to buy her part of the vineyard.

According to sources close to the actor, “Jolie only inked the deal with Shefler shortly after a judge granted Pitt 50-50 custody of their children,” which to him, means she’s doing it out of spite.

Although there have been reports that the lengthy legal battle between them might be coming to an end, it now seems any resolution is far away.

Despite the heated legal fight he’s still involved in, Brad Pitt has reportedly completely moved on from the marriage.

For the last year, he has been spotted out on dates with his new girlfriend, Ines De Ramon, and despite the significant age difference (she’s almost half his age) the couple are said to be going strong.

Recently, there have been reports that they moved in together, taking their relationship to the next level. “It’s pretty recent,” a source said at the time. But even so, “They are going very strong and she is happier than ever.”

The source also noted that, while Ines De Ramon moved in with him, she still keeps her own place just in case, which makes sense, since no one knows what the future might bring.

Brad Pitt seems to be stuck between moving forward in his new relationship and the unresolved issues of his divorce. Hopefully, for everyone involved, things will come to a satisfying conclusion soon.
