Keanu Reeves said that he once ‘injured’ a co-star and that he himself was bruised while filming ‘John Wick 4’, but he was still willing to sacrifice for his role.

John Wick: Chapter 4 starring Keanu Reeves and Donnie Yen is currently dominating the box office worldwide. 

According to Variety , the new part in Lionsgate’s film series had the best start compared to the previous three works, earning 73.5 million USD in its opening weekend at the domestic box office (North America).

 In international markets, John Wick 4 also  debuted at No. 1 in 71 release markets.

With a duration of 169 minutes, part 4 of the popular film series makes viewers hold their breath in suspense with many risky scenes of the character John Wick, played by actor Keanu Reeves. 

Sharing with ComicBook.com, the “speed star” said that the whole crew was tired after filming ended, but it was the most rewarding kind of fatigue.

When asked about the accident on set, John Wick honestly revealed: “I made a mistake once. I slashed a co-star’s head. That’s really bad. I’m sorry”. 

But also… oh, one guy gets hit by a car. He was in the car so he had to go to the hospital, but luckily he was okay,” Keanu Reeves revealed.

To film John Wick 4 , Keanu Reeves and Donnie Yen had to challenge themselves in many risky scenes.

 In particular, the scene where John shoots a gun from inside a doorless muscle car while driving around the Arc de Triomphe in France, while chasing on horseback through the desert while shooting, received the most praise. 

Keanu Reeves himself admitted that he suffered many bruises from filming. However, the actor still said: “I really love this character and at any cost I will still participate in the movie.”

 John Wick: Chapter 4 is the latest episode in the series. 

The film stars Keanu Reeves as the main character, along with a supporting cast, including: Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick (one of the last roles of him), Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins and Ian McShane.
