Miley Cyrus has just released a new song called Used to be Young.

This is a song composed by the female singer 2 years ago, during a time when she was “misunderstood” about her youth.

Specifically, in the announcement of the new song, Miley said: “This song is about honoring who we were in the past, loving us and honoring who we will become.

I I feel proud when thinking about the past, optimistic when thinking about the future.”

The reality is that Miley Cyrus has had an extremely rebellious past, from revealing moments and inappropriate behavior during performances to being nude in MVs.

Now, the former Disney star is 30 years old, entering a new phase in life and is no longer as wild as before.

However, when looking back at her youth, the female singer still affirms that she is always proud of this “crazy” period.

The chorus of Used to be Young also clearly states the feelings of the star born in 1992: “I know I used to be crazy. I know I used to have fun. You say I used to be wild, I say I used to be young.”

You say time has changed me, well, I’ve come a long way. I know I was crazy because I was young.”

Notably, the song’s MV is quite simple with the image of Miley Cyrus standing in front of the camera, emotionally singing each lyric while wearing a T-shirt with a Mickey Mouse image.

The shirt is said to be a reference to her time as a Disney star on the famous TV series Hannah Montana.
