“Terminator” Arnold Schwarzenegger – former governor of California (USA) was involved in a love scandal with his housekeeper that caused a stir in public opinion.

Action movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger – who is famous for the hit movie The Terminator, had an admirable marriage with journalist Maria Shriver, niece of President John F. Kennedy.

The couple married in 1986 and have four beautiful children together. The happy family of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver were once Hollywood icons.

Unexpectedly, on May 9, 2011, Shriver and Schwarzenegger announced their separation after 25 years of marriage and Shriver moved out of their Brentwood mansion.

Just a week later, the Los Angeles Times revealed that Schwarzenegger had fathered a son more than 14 years earlier with the family’s housekeeper, Mildred Patricia “Patty” Baena.

Schwarzenegger admitted to talking about this with his wife but did not mention that he only confessed to her after his wife confirmed to the housekeeper what she suspected about the child.

Baena is of Guatemalan descent. She worked for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s family for 20 years and quit in January 2011.

Baena became pregnant at the same time Maria Shriver was pregnant with her youngest child.

Baena’s son with “The Terminator” is named Joseph, born on October 2, 1997, and Maria Shriver gave birth to Christopher on September 27, 1997.

Schwarzenegger said it took him seven or eight years before he discovered that he had fathered a child with the family’s housekeeper.

It wasn’t until the boy grew up and started to look like his father that Arnold Schwarzenegger put everything together and thought he had a “child”.

Schwarzenegger was financially responsible for his “dropped” child and in 2010, he bought a house in Bakersfield, California, USA with four bedrooms and a swimming pool for Baena and their son.

Baena separated from her husband Rogelio a few months after giving birth to Joseph. She filed for divorce in 2008.

This love scandal severely affected Arnold Schwarzenegger’s reputation and moreover, he lost his wife of 25 years and a happy family.

In an interview, the veteran actor admitted that when his divorce with his wife happened, it was also the worst time in his life.

“I have had personal failures, but without a doubt, this is the biggest failure.

Not only a failure, I also feel truly to blame for it. It was I who messed up and I can’t blame anyone else,” Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted.

Arnold said that he and his ex-wife tried psychotherapy during their divorce. Arnold initially did not want to continue trying it because he knew he was at fault. “I know I messed up.

I don’t have to go through anyone to explain anything to me. I apologized to Maria.

I apologized to the kids.”

At his lowest point, Arnold looked back at the most valuable aspects of his life and chose to make amends with his family first.

Arnold Schwarzenegger tries to maintain a good relationship with his ex-wife, always taking care of his children and especially his “lost” son.

Arnold said: “It’s wonderful to have a fifth child. Joseph is great and he completely understands the situation.

So all is well. It’s been a very difficult situation for my children.

The circumstances are very It’s difficult for my family, but it happened and everyone has to find a solution.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger shared that divorce is never easy for children, especially when he had a sexual relationship outside of marriage and even had children of his own, but Arnold was lucky to have a generous wife to help.
