Lori Loughlin gushes over Keanu Reeves while reflecting on the time they co-starred together in a 1988 film.

Full House star Lori Loughlin says that all of the wonderful things that people have heard about Keanu Reeves are true.

She can personally recall just how “lovely” he’d been with her on the set of the movie they shot together more than three decades ago.

In 1988, Loughlin and Reeves co-starred in the movie The Night Before. The dark comedy film follows Reeves as a nerdy character taking a popular high school girl (Loughlin) to prom after she loses a bet, only to wake up to discover her missing with no memories of the night before.

Recently, the film was brought up by Loughlin when she appeared on the How Rude, Tanneritos! podcast with her former co-stars Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber.

After Loughlin spoke about how much “fun” that film was to make, Sweetin expressed her surprise over Reeves’ casting.

Dirty Work was released over 20 years ago, and the film’s plot might be silly, but it still holds relevance to many issues society faces.

“He was the nerdy guy?” Sweetin asked. Loughlin confirmed, responding, “He was the nerdy guy. Can you imagine?”

“He was so wonderful,” Loughlin continued, recalling what it was like to work with Reeves. “What a lovely, lovely man.”

After Sweetin said she wanted to meet Reeves herself after hearing all of the stories about how lovely he is, Loughlin added, “He is. He’s just a dream. He really is.”

Thom Eberhardt directed The Night Before. The film also starred Theresa Saldana (Raging Bull), Trinidad Silva (UHF), and Suzanne Snyder (Killer Klowns from Outer Space).

The film’s tagline reads, “You lost your father’s car, sold your prom date and a guy called ‘Tito’ wants you dead. It’s a date that’s the time of your life.”

Keanu Reeves Gets More Praise

It’s not unusual for someone who’s met Keanu Reeves to share the kindest words to say about the veteran actor.

He’s very well known for his positivity and sometimes goes viral with stories of interactions with both fans and co-workers on movie sets.

Just recently, Aziz Ansari spoke about how Reeves plays an angel in the upcoming film Good Fortune because he’s basically an angel in reality as well.

Ansari also revealed how Reeves fractured his knee after tripping on the set, but insisted on working through the pain to film as much as he possibly could.

“He actually is an angel, this is the first time he’s gotten to play his true form,” Ansari said of Reeves.
