Why didn’t Jennifer Lawrence sue both the perpetrator and Apple after n_de photos were distributed?

–  Jennifer Lawrence , in a recent broadcast with  The Hollywood Reporter  , shared about having her hot photos leaked in 2014.

Jennifer Lawrence is one of nearly 100 female artists directly affected by the iCloud account hack that sh*cked the showbiz world in 2014. 

At that time, hot photos of the actress, which were taken with a phone for her boyfriend, actor Nicholas Hoult, were widely distributed by hackers on Reddit and 4Chan, along with a series of other names such as Kim Kardashian, Kate Upton and Cara Delevingne. 

Federal police said  Jennifer Lawrence almost “went crazy” and seriously collapsed during a meeting with them after the incident.

 The person who committed the above act, Edward Majerczyk, 29 years old from Chicago, was sentenced to 9 months in prison.

Until now, Jennifer Lawrence shares that she is still struggling to overcome her obsession: “When I found out about such a thing, the feeling at that time was that it was like a time bomb, it seemed like Every minute that passes, they upload a photo.” 

“I couldn’t stop thinking about the fact that anyone in the world could see my private photos,” the 27-year-old Oscar-winning actress continued.

Jennifer Lawrence also explained the reason she never sued anyone, including Apple – the founder of iCloud, saying “doing so wouldn’t help me feel at peace”.

“Suing Apple or anyone else won’t take back the n-de photos of me and Nicholas Hoult. So I have no need to sue. What I want is just to focus on healing the wound,” said the source. actress’s words.

The above incident is not the only scandal affecting Jennifer Lawrence. 

Less than 3 months after the incident, in November 2014, a hacker believed to be from North Korea distributed emails and data of Sony employees. 

Including documents showing that Jennifer Lawrence was paid less than three other actors when participating in  American Hustle,  causing the actress to speak out about sexism in and outside of Hollywood.
