According to the L2M report, it was noted that Knicks’ guard Jalen Brunson may have impeded Maxey’s ability to receive the pass by tugging on his jersey during the inbounds play. In addition to that, according to the report, there was a missed foul call on Sixers’ Josh Hart shortly after, as he stepped forward and initiated lower body contact, resulting in Maxey losing his balance.
