Sean Payton finally has his quarterback after the Denver Broncos selected former Oregon Ducks quarterback Bo Nix with the No. 12 pick in the NFL draft on Thursday.

Nix was not at the Daft on Thursday as he opted to stay home and be surrounded by famil instead. That also included his wife, Izzy Smoke.

Izzy was on hand to watch her husband get selected by the Denver Broncos. After the selection, Smoke would take to her Instagram story and post a selfie where she was seen hugging Bo Nix and tagging the Broncos while adding two emojis.

The first-round pick was a standout at Pinson Valley High School. Nix also played at Auburn in the 2019, 2020, and 2021 seasons before transferring to Oregon.

Izzey and Bo Nix captured the hearts of many at Auburn University and they stayed close to each other when he transferred to Oregon. They officially became a couple during Nix’s second year at Auburn and later got married on July 2, 2022, at Ridge Point Events Venues.

Nix finished third in the voting for the 2023 Heisman Trophy behind LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, who won the award, and Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr.

Nix broke school records with 4,508 passing yards and 45 touchdown passes for Oregon during the 2023 season, setting an NCAA FBS single-season record by completing 77.45 percent of his passes.

Nix holds the second-most total offensive yards in NCAA FBS history with 16,965 yards during his career. He also comes in sixth with 15,352 throwing yards, seventh with 1,286 completions, and second with 152 total touchdowns (113 passing, 38 rushing, and one receiving), per Wikipedia.com.
