Central Cee has put forth a dominant 2023 campaign without even dropping any solo music. That all changed when Cench returned with “Entrapreneur.”

The British rapper’s first single of the year, which arrived Thursday (December 21), finds him boasting about his street business savvy and the many things that set him apart.

While he’s only 25 years old, Cench takes aim at Gen Z and claims they’ll do anything for clout and to go viral. He closes out the effort touching on his work ethic as he’s been on tour for about two years straight — or 730 days according to his count.

“New genеration don’t know how to trap ’cause they all getting high off thеir own supply/Trap house in the woods where the bando’s haunted, it’s supernatural, poltergeist/Witnessed things that I wish that I didn’t, like crackheads overdose then die/Bad B’s curvin’ the kid back then when I weren’t so lit, I was broke them times,” he raps. “I put the trap in Entrapreneur.”

Despite the lack of solo music, Central Cee continued to elevate in 2023. He and Dave’s hit  “Sprinter” topped the UK charts as the top rap song for 10 straight weeks. Central Cee also became the first rapper to eclipse 2 billion streams on Spotify.

The “Doja” rapper has plenty in store for next year which could involve a collaboration with Ice Spice. He heaped a ton of praise on the “Munch” rhymer while speaking to Complex in October.

“She reminds me of me a bit… she’s cool innit,” the British rapper said about his peer. “Humble, down to earth, don’t really care too much about the shiny stuff; but knows how to play the game.”

He added: “You can hear that in the music, and see that in the moves that she makes, and I appreciate that because some people don’t really know what they’re doing, and they take it for granted or they don’t take the opportunity and run with it — but she’s really running with it right now.”

Cench even admitted that she’s the only person in his line of work he’s interested in collaborating with. “I wish there were more artists coming up that we could collaborate with but it seems like it’s just me and her right now,” he said.
