She is famous for her large group of famous female friends and Taylor Swift insists that nothing comes between them, not even men.

Taylor, who has amassed a loyal gang of fellow female celebrities, including Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid, reveals in her interview in the September issue of Vanity Fair, ‘We even have girls in our group who have dated the same people.’

The statuesque pop beauty is the cover story for the September issue of the mag, which delves into her friendships, career and her recent coup over tech giant Apple.

She accompanied the interview with a racy shoot, including one picture where she shows off her long legs in a daring dress

Taylor – currently dating Calvin Harris – went on to add about her friends: ‘It’s almost like the sisterhood has such a higher place on the list of priorities for us. It’s so much more important than some guy that it didn’t work out with.

‘Now more than ever we need to be good and kind to each other and not judge each other – and just because you have the same taste in men, we don’t hold that against each other.’

Along with Karlie and Gigi, the Pennsylvania-born star counts Lena Dunham, Lorde and Selena Gomez among her celeb BFFs.

But one person who will not be making the list is Katy Perry, who she is rumoued to have had a falling out with.

Appearing to address the feud, she told the magazine: ‘I’ve trusted people before in friendships or relationships and have felt betrayed.

‘If you betray your friend, if you will talk about them badly behind their back, if you will try to humiliate them or talk down to them, I have no interest in having a person like that in my life.’

The former country singer also revealed that over the last couple of years she has relaxed her attitude on dating and is more open-minded about finding love.

She explained: ‘Not looking for anything, not necessarily being open to anything, and only being open to the idea that, if I found someone who would never try to change me, that would be the only person I could fall in love with. Because, you know, I was in love with my life.’
Swift said that in the past she had made some errors with her relationships; her previous boyfriends include Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, Joe Jonas and John Mayer.

She said: ‘But usually I don’t make the same mistake twice. I make new ones, but I don’t usually repeat my old ones’.

On the cover, the Bad Blood hitmaker is seen posing by a piano in a white blouse, black blazer and delicate scarf tied at her neck.

She wears her signature red lipstick, thick eyeliner and diamond chandelier earrings while thick hair extensions make for glamorous volume.
When Forbes voted her onto its Power List they said that she was a master of social media with 61 million followers on Twitter, 40 million followers on Instagram and earned an estimated £41 million last year from records sales.

Forbes also singled her out for standing up to online music streaming service Spotify by refusing to let it play her last album, 1989, and pulling her entire back catalogue.

She threatened to pull 1989 on Apple Music, the tech giant’s music streaming service, as well because it was refusing to pay royalties when consumers were on a three-month trial. Apple relented and said it would pay.

In the interview Swift said: ‘People would say: “Why won’t she shut up about this?”

‘My fears were that I would be looked at as someone who just whines and rants about this thing that no one else is really ranting about.

‘I found it really ironic that the multi-billion-dollar company reacted to criticism with humility, and the start-up with no cash flow (Spotify) reacted to criticism like a corporate machine.’

She also revealed that she has finally forgiven rapper Kanye West for jumping on stage and grabbing the microphone during her acceptance speech for Best Female Video at the 2009 Video Music Awards.

Hip hop producer Jay-Z helped them to resolve their differences and now she feels that Mr West has ‘some sort of respect for me’
Meanwhile, Taylor has also revealed some musical news to her legions of devoted fans – on Wednesday, she shared that Wildest Dreams from her 1989 album will be the next single.

She simply wrote on Twitter: ‘Just wanted to let you know that the next single from 1989 will be……….. Wildest Dreams.’
