Lil Eazy-E, the son of the late rapper Eazy-E, wants his dad’s former N.W.A bandmate Dr. Dre to visit with his grandmother while she is still “living and well.”He shared the request with TMZ at the unveiling of the street named after his father in Compton, Calif. on Wednesday.”DJ Yella was the only one at [my dad’s] funeral,” Lil Eazy-E (real name Eric Darnell Wright) said, referring to another of his father’s bandmates. “Thirty years later, do you think I care? No. You gotta think that all of the West Coast should be here because he put on for the nation.”

However, he then urges his dad’s friends and colleagues to come visit his grandmother, noting that she’d helped some of them out over the years. “She’s still alive, you know. So if y’all wanna say hi to her, you know? Dre, you was on her couch when your mom kicked you out. So you could come sit there and say hi. She is still living and well.””If my grandmother’s happy, I’m happy,” he concluded.

Eazy-E (real name Eric Lynn Wright) died in 1995 from AIDS-induced pneumonia at 30 years old when his son was just 9. He was a member of the famed West Coast hip-hop group alongside Dre, Yella, Ice Cube and MC Ren.
