Taylor Swift attended the Super Bowl LVIII to support her boyfriend, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Her presence contributed a chunk to making the football the second-most watched TV event in American history.

There are also individuals on the other end of the spectrum who do not appreciate the coverage of Swift during football games. Shortly after the game aired on Sunday, ESPN sports analyst Chris Russo ranted that the CBS broadcast showed the ‘cruel summer’ singer 12 times in the first half, even though Kelce had just one touch on the football.

However, in reality, Swift was shown a mere 54 seconds on Sunday night. Famous tennis coach Rennae Stubbs took a dig at the 34-year-old’s haters, saying, “Taylor Swift didn’t ruin football.

Along the lines of Stubbs’ statement, former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III backed Swift’s involvement. Griffin admitted that her presence has propelled the NFL to become popular with a section of audiences that they hadn’t tapped previously.

While that’s the general consensus, Griffin viewed the situation from a different angle. He argued that being part of the NFL brought the 14-time Grammy winner closer to her fans even more. They got the chance to see a side of Swift that rarely gets the spotlight.

I feel like chugging a beer on the jumbotron isn’t something you associate with the woman who is singing sweeter than fiction.

Griffin in a video via his X accountGriffin claimed it has humanized Taylor Swift and continued:

She’s flying from different countries hours before the game just to be there for her boo. That’s support, and from what I saw and as far as I can tell, that’s real love.

Griffin captioned the video as:

Taylor Swift has done wonders for the NFL bringing more eyes to the sport, but the NFL and Travis Kelce have also done something major. Humanized her even more.

What did Travis Kelce gift Taylor Swift for Valentine’s Day?

After bagging his third Super Bowl ring in Vegas, he partied hard with beau Taylor Swift. Three days later was National Lover’s Day, aka Valentine’s Day. However, Swift had to jet away to her next location for the ERAS Tour concert. So the celebrity couple wasn’t able to spend their first February 14 together.

However, Kelce did not let distance sour their special day. The all-pro tight end sent an extravagant gift that included 250 Eternity roses and a $3,100 rose sculpture.

Swift arrived in Melbourne to prepare for the next leg of her concert. She was welcomed with a lavish arrangement of 250 Eternity roses valued at $3,100, sent by Kelce. According to the US Sun, these roses ‘require minimal care and attention and can last for an entire year.
