Britney Spears is a self-proclaimed “passionate eater!”
In a candid new Instagram post on Friday, the pop icon, 42, opened up about her passion for food, as well as her weight, lifelong eating habits and favorite sweet snack.
Alongside a photo of a decadent cup of hot chocolate — the “white chocolate brûlée” from New York City ice cream shop Glace by Noglu — Spears wrote, “Food is my weakness I will admit it !!!”
The “Toxic” singer went on to reflect on childhood meals with her mom, Lynne Spears
“When I was younger and would go to restaurants with my mom, she would either say “sit still” or ‘you are eating way too fast … please slow down,’” Britney wrote, noting that she is a “passionate eater.
“I do remember at lunch though everybody’s meal was still there when mine was gone in 2 seconds,” she added.
The Woman in Me author also discussed her weight, writing that it “pretty much stays the same.”
“I’m usually 135 on scale … that’s my normal weight !!! Well that’s good for me,” she wrote, adding,“I want to be 125 – 128 but I’m probably gonna do 140 now that this damn BLAZE coffee place has opened !!! DAMN !!!”
“I’m just saying that pic is better than any award … any trip … any sibling … any car !!! It looks absolutely amazing,” she continued.
Britney also gave her followers an insight into the desserts she likes to indulge in, revealing that one of her favorite sweet treats is a Wendy’s confection.
“I still eat the same secret hot fudge Sunday [sic] from Wendy’s !!! The one that has the deep bottom brownie,” she wrote. “Yep they still have it !!! Around dinner I will go eat one for dinner !!!”
The singer then referenced her ex Sam Asghari, a personal trainer and fitness influencer, writing, “My ex husband was a trainer so he knew a lot of different ways and easy tricks to stay healthy !!! With food I think it’s weird though !!! Timing is important I think !!!”
“Sometimes when I see food commercials I’m like GROOSSSSS,” she continued. “But then sometimes I stop and drool 🤤 !!!”
“I suggest whoever you’re with or thinking of being with … make sure you look at them just the way you’re looking at that blaze coffee,” she finished, signing off the post: “Psss CAN I HAVE MORE PLEASE !!!”
Britney certainly has reason to treat herself, as earlier this month, a press release from Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, that published Spears’ bombshell memoir, The Woman in Me, revealed that Britney’s book has now sold more than two million copies in the United States. hardcover, audiobook and ebook formats make up the combined sales figures.
“My book has officially sold over 2 million copies in the US!!! Thank you to all the fans who have supported me and my story. Love you All!!!” Britney said in the statement at the time.
