Fans can also recreate the iconic music video’s shoulder shimmy with a different lens and add songs and remixes from the album into their Snaps.
Britney has shocked fans by deleting her Instagram account, where she often posted lively dance videos. The move comes after the star faced criticism for some of her posts, leaving fans worried. She even posted a video of herself dancing with knives, raising a flag about her safety.
Now, Britney is turning to Snapchat to express herself and celebrate the 25th anniversary of her debut album, ‘…Baby One More Time’. Fans who follow her on Snapchat can expect behind-the-scenes footage, a look back at past performances, and details about merchandise.
The celebration follows a teaser Britney posted on Twitter, hinting at something new coming soon. She confirmed this with her Snapchat announcement, writing: “Celebrate the 25th anniversary of my debut album, ‘…Baby One More Time,’ with the new exclusive anniversary collection, available now.”
Despite hopes for new music, Britney has previously stated she will not return to the music industry. Before deleting her Instagram, she wrote: “I will never return to the music industry !!! When I write, I write for fun or I write for other people !!! I’ve written over 20 songs for other people the past two years !!! I’m a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way.”
Her Snapchat announcement posts were deleted from her Twitter after the announcements and teasers. Fans were expressing concern about the amount of promotional content on her account, especially given the loss of her Instagram which left a more personal touch to Britney’s brand.
