Britney Spears’ Private New Romance Has Already Hit a Major Relationship Milestone

While Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s divorce last year might’ve caught many of her fans off-guard, after all the two were only married for 14 months, it seems like the singer is not only over Asghari, but is happily moving on. According to new reports, Spears is in a still casual relationship with Paul Richard Soliz.

“Britney and Paul are definitely together,” one source told Us Weekly. Previously, the pair, who met when he was hired to do maintenance work at her L.A. mansion, was rumored to have broken things off in the fall of last year. Now, however, he seems to be fully back into her life. “He’s still in the picture,” the source affirmed.

As a sign of their blossoming connection, Spears has reportedly even met his kids. “She’s great with [the kids], and they like her,” the source said, noting a special connection she has with his 7-year-old son: “That’s her favorite,” the source said. “They just click.”

And while the two may be hitting it off, sources also confirmed that not everyone in her close circle is supportive of their relationship. For some background, Soliz, per the outlet, reportedly has a criminal record that includes multiple misdemeanors and felonies.

“Her assistants don’t want [Paul] around; they’ve made that clear from day one,” a second source stated.

The source, however, assured that Soliz isn’t interested in using the “Toxic” singer. “She is such a sweetheart and generous by nature, but he doesn’t want anything,” the source said. “He isn’t in it for that and genuinely cares about her as a person. [But] her managerial team probably thinks he is out to do something shady.”
