This happened after it was seen that both artists had matching white extensions and were donning white fur coats.

Cardi must have learned about the fashion debate and decided to put a stop to it. In a video shared on her Instagram handle, Cardi said, “You muthaf**king fans and b***hes are arguing over a coat that I had on for 45 seconds. Y’all crying about a f**king old-ass coat. An archive piece in my f**king closet. Shut the f**k up.”

In addition, Cardi mentioned that she doesn’t follow other female rappers so she isn’t pressured to imitate their style choices. Minaj cleverly weighed in the comparisons discussion by posting a picture of herself wearing the in-question white fur coat on her Instagram page. The lyrics of her song “Barbie Dangerous” from “Pink Friday 2” were used as the caption for the photo. She wrote, “B!Ches Jackin. I’m still Queenin.”
