They showed off their superhuman strength.

For many people, Jason Momoa and Chris Hemsworth have become synonymous with their superhero roles on the big screen. As a Native Hawaiian, Momoa makes a natural fit to play Aquaman, while Hemsworth and his Thor character have become inextricably tied together. Both superheroes, naturally, represent the pinnacle of physical fitness, including bulging muscles from head to toe.

Momoa decided to have fun with Hemsworth in a TikTok video showing off his biceps. In the apparent behind-the-scenes video, he’s wearing his Aquaman suit and flexing his arms in the tight costume.

“What’s up, Hemsworth?” Momoa taunted Hemsworth while flexing his bicep, laughing, “You had to work out; I didn’t!” Given Momoa’s dedication to the gym with the help of his personal trainer, it’s hard to believe his arms are that big naturally.

It didn’t take long for Hemsworth to respond with his own TikTok. The Aussie actor did bicep curls with resistance bands as he showed off for the Aquaman star. “That’s a lovely padded costume you got there, Jason. I prefer a skin suit myself, mate,” he said as he breathed heavily through his reps. He ended the video showing it was all in good fun: “I love you, Aquaman.”

Hemsworth most recently reprised his role as Thor in 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder. After debuting as Aquaman in 2018, Momoa is diving back into the world of Atlantis in the upcoming sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, set to hit theaters Dec. 22. As for when the two actors will engage in a real-life arm wrestling match, that remains to be seen.
