Jason Momoa is all kinds of extra as he twerks in sparkly pants for SNL

Jason Momoa brought a little something extra to A Christmas Carol last night – in every sense of the word.

The Aquaman star gave it his all hosting this week’s SNL, and ended up stripping down to silver pants and a cape to give Scrooge a bit of Christmas sparkle.

Coming into the iconic character’s room as the ‘extra spirit’ in the story, he is soon using curtains to attempt a seductive dance routine, putting a rose in between his teeth and giving it a little shimmy.

Unfortunately, despite his sparkly cape reveal from underneath his Santa suit, Scrooge doesn’t quite get it.

When the Cratchetts arrive, Scrooge surprises them with a Christmas bonus – but Tiny Tim is a little distracted.

The squeaky voiced character (played by Kate McKinnon) then asked: ‘Thank you Mr Scrooge. If I’m not too bold to ask, who’s this well-built ghost that’s being so extra right now?’

‘Tiny Tim gets it!,’ says the extra ghost.

‘You’re as extra as Christmas itself! With all its tinsel and ghostiness.’

As Jason then whips off his trousers to reveal some sparkly silver pants, Tiny Tim uses the bonus to make it rain on the dancing star.

We didn’t know that seeing Jason Momoa grinding against a bedpost was typically a Christmas tradition, but we’re more than willing to make it one.

Jason was clearly having a blast as he hosted his annual show, and even brought back his legendary character Khal Drogo for another sketch.

In his opening monologue, Jason admitted that he was a massive fan of the show, and even wanted to audition to be part of the show.

‘Unfortunately I got side-tracked by a massively successful career,’ he sadly explained.
