Male god Chris Hemsworth stops drinking water every time there is a ‘striptease’ scene showing off his muscles

Chris Hemsworth accepted to abstain from drinking water for more than a day and diet to ensure that Thor’s solid body would ‘satisfy the audience’.

Luke Zocchi, the longtime trainer of Chris Hemsworth, the actor who plays the famous Thor, said that every time Thor takes off his shirt, the actor must abstain from drinking water.

‘Thor’ Chris Hemsworth has shown off his perfect upper body in four Marvel movies. A week before filming the shirtless scene, Hemsworth will gradually increase the amount of water he drinks, then stop drinking a day and a half before filming.

“We started with three liters of water, each day increased by one liter, on the last day he would drink seven liters of water,” says Zocchi. “Then around lunchtime before the shoot, he would cut off the water.” This is not a healthy method so I advise you not to follow Chris.”

Hemsworth also performs a carb-cycle (a rotating diet that adjusts low, medium, and high carbohydrate intake daily, weekly, or monthly) to prepare for filming scenes. He wanted to completely deplete his carbs for the week and then eat 40 grams of carbs every two hours for the last two days before the shoot. Zocchi says this process has the effect of replenishing glycogen to muscles after being drained of fluid, making them appear denser and harder than normal.

“During the first few days, I fed him a sweet potato and brown rice. When it was close to filming, I gave him rice cakes. And half an hour before the camera turned on, I would give him some snacks” – Zocchi said.

Hemsworth also spent the last two days before filming doing low-weight lifting exercises to strengthen his muscles.

“Simply put, he wanted his body to look as solid as possible, so he had to get all the fluid out, and at the same time remove as much fat as possible,” Zocchi said.

Because his extreme exercise and diet regimen leads to dehydration, Hemsworth often suffers from headaches and fatigue.

Dr. Rand McClain, medical director of sports medicine clinic LCR Health, told Insider that the actor’s dehydration regimen could make his muscles look smaller in the future. When dehydrated, the ratio of salt and water in the body drops to a low level, causing muscles to flatten and become smaller.

In addition, suddenly adding water (after completely cutting off water) will make the cells understand that blood sugar is lacking, causing us to feel hungry and eat more calories, and what you eat can be affected. converted into fat.
