Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj were mistakenly named the best rap song winners at the 2024 Grammys.

During the live pre-show telecast, Killer Mike — the actual winner — was announced as the recipient of the award for his work on “Scientists & Engineers,” which features André 3000, Future & Eryn Allen Kane.

The Recording Academy account on X, formerly known as Twitter, however, mistakenly awarded the prize to “Barbie World”  by Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj. Although the mistake was quickly fixed, multiple X users captured screenshots of the post.

Also up in the category were “Attention” by Doja Cat, “Just Wanna Rock” by Lil Uzi Vert, and “Rich Flex” by Drake & 21 Savage. Ice Spice or Minaj have not commented on the mistake.

‘Barbie World” was created for the Barbie movie soundtrack and includes a sample from Aqua’s iconic 1997 hit “Barbie Girl.” The two have also collaborated on the track “Princess Diana.”

Of working with Minaj, Ice Spice shared during an appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna earlier this week: “That was unreal. I did not ever think I would get a feature with her, let alone two. So, I’m so grateful. Shoutout to Queen.”
