Only a few months later, the title is gaining a lot of ground when it comes to fans buying the project, but it’s somehow still falling on multiple rankings.

In the past tracking period, sales of Pink Friday 2 exploded. The set experienced a gain in pure purchases of more than 150%, according to Luminate.

Pink Friday 2 returns to the Top Album Sales chart this week, Billboard’s ranking of the top-selling releases in the country. Minaj’s latest studio effort sold another 2,962 copies in the tracking period that began on February 9 and ended on the fifteenth. That’s enough for it to reappear at No. 28 on this specific list.

While Pink Friday 2’s sales are way up, the album is actually falling on several charts. Purchases of the rap release may be sky-high, but overall consumption of the project is going in the other direction. Luminate reports that the title was down 8.7% when looking at all forms of listening.

This week, Pink Friday 2 slips on the Billboard 200, sliding from No. 18 to No. 24. The title did move 24,155 equivalent units, including pure purchases, sales of individual tunes from the album, and, of course, streams—which make up the bulk of the units Minaj’s latest is managing.

As it returns to the Top Album Sales chart, Pink Friday 2 is down on every other Billboard ranking it appears on it. In addition to the Billboard 200, the LP falls on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, Top Rap Albums, and Top Streaming Albums. It has previously ruled all three–as well as the aforementioned Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales lists.
