Patrick Mahomes gives back to society in his own way

The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off a disappointing loss against their divisional rivals, the Las Vegas Raiders. With the loss, they also snapped their six-game winning streak against the team. Now there are just two games left in the regular season for the Chiefs. Although they have almost secured a playoff berth, winning the next two games will set the tone for the postseason games.

However, Patrick Mahomes is not wallowing in self-pity. Instead, he is spreading the joy of Christmas among those less fortunate than him. Brittany Mahomes joined him in the noble task.

The 2x Super Bowl Champ is in second position for the “Walter Payton Man of the Year Award”. The Award is given to players who show excellence both on the field and off the field, and is also part of the “NFL’s commitment to philanthropy and community impact”. The winning player will get $35,000 for his favorite charity. Patrick and Brittany Mahomes paid a visit to the EarlystART organization as part of this competition, coupled with the spirit of the Christmas season.

Mahomes could be seen embracing little children and handing them bags of goodies bearing the logo of his foundation, “15 and the Mahomies”. The kids were all decked in red and could be seen smiling from ear to ear at having gotten the chance to interact with one of the greatest quarterbacks in America’s most popular sports.
