Patrick Mahomes capped off a sensational individual season by leading the Kansas City Chiefs to a second Super Bowl victory in four years as they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite coming into a game with an ankle injury and then re-aggravating it during the game, that didn’t stop the quarterback who captured his second Super Bowl MVP in the 38-35 victory.

The triumph brings the Chiefs to three Super Bowl victories in their history and adds tremendously to Mahomes’ legacy, which at 27-years-old, is already quite impressive.

Mahomes knocked off a couple of records during the victory as he became the first player in NFL history to win multiple championships and multiple league MVPs within his first six seasons in the league.

The record is even more impressive when you realise Mahomes played just one game in his rookie year and has so far amassed a 192-49 touchdown to interception ratio.

The scary thing is, that’s not even the most impressive record he broke tonight.

During the regular season, Mahomes led the NFL in both pass touchdowns and yards and as of tonight, he won the Super Bowl and was the MVP of the game.
