Selena Gomez ramps up relationship with boyfriend Benny Blanco by introducing him to her Only ᴍᴜʀᴅᴇʀs In The Building costars Steve Martin and Martin Short at the Emmys
During the 75th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which were held in Los Angeles this past Monday, Selena Gomez presented her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, to her costars from Only Murders in the Building, Steve Martin and Martin Short.
Just before the event began, the 31-year-old actress reportedly approached her castmates, with whom she has become especially close.
After meeting the actors, the Disney Channel alumna—who was recently revealed to play Linda Ronstadt in a forthcoming biopic—brought her girlfriend along. Before the ceremony began, Blanco, 35, was also seen shaking Short’s hand.
The sole Emmy Award that sole Murders In The Building received was for Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program (Half-Hour), despite having 11 nominations overall.
Gomez and her partner were initially connected in 2019 when they worked together with J Balvin and Tainy on the song I Can’t Get Enough.
The singer of “Lose You To Love Me” has previously dated celebrities like The Weeknd and Justin Bieber.
After moving on with Blanco, the performer—who is presently producing a revival of Wizards of Waverly Place—released their second joint single, Single Soon, this past August.
When Selena began making flirtatious comments on Benny’s Instagram photos this past November, followers started to have doubts about the couple.
The Grammy Award-winning singer later shared a photo of herself and her beau on Instagram Stories in December. Earlier this month, they were first seen out together on a date.
Since then, Gomez and Blanco have gone to a number of events together.
According to a recent insider who talked with Entertainment Tonight, the singer and producer were a fantastic fit.
“Benny listens to Selena, is open and honest with her, and is a great communicator.” He doesn’t play games, is courteous, and isn’t interested in recognition or notoriety. They claimed, “Selena sees that he doesn’t care about any of that and really trusts him.”
The source continued by saying that Gomez felt comfortable opening out to the prominent member of the music business.
