‘Thor God’ Chris Hemsworth doesn’t want his daughter to pursue an acting career too early

Chris Hemsworth wants his 11-year-old daughter to “have a childhood” rather than follow him into acting.

While Chris Hemsworth’s daughter “is a professional actress and is loved” for her cameo in the blockbuster Thor: Love and Thunder , the actor said he doesn’t want her to rush into the acting industry.

Chris Hemsworth may be proud of his daughter India Rose’s acting debut in Thor: Love and Thunder , but audiences shouldn’t expect him to bring her into the spotlight anytime soon.

India Rose excels as a young Asgardian in the 2022 Marvel blockbuster, but her father doesn’t want her to become a Hollywood star.

Chris Hemsworth (39) told Entertainment Tonight : “It was just supposed to be a super quick moment in the movie. I asked, ‘Do you want to do some lines in the movie?’, and she said, ‘ Yes, that’s great!'”.

And while India Rose “is a popular professional actor,” the actor emphasized: “But I want her to have a childhood and I think India would like that too. I said: ‘There’s still plenty of time. , my dear. Study, ride horses, play like a child. Because once you get on a moving train, it’s very difficult to get off and you’ll miss out on a lot of things'”.

In addition to India, Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky also have twin sons Sasha and Tristan, who just celebrated their 9th birthday in March. Both kids also appear in Thor: Love and Thunder – one of them plays young Thor!

All three children came to the set of Extraction 2 with their father and even wanted to participate in the movie.

“The kids all love the movie Extraction 2 ,” the actor told People at the movie’s premiere last week. “My children come to the studio often and they want to be in front of the camera.”

The Avengers star revealed to Vanity Fair last year that he struggled with his busy career and his desire to become a real father to his three children.

“Doing a movie where I have to face death made me say, ‘Oh my God, I’m not ready to leave yet,'” the actor told People . Instead, Hemsworth wants to “enjoy the family atmosphere with a sense of calm and gratitude”.

“My children are growing up while I continue to film one movie after another. Then when my children turn 18 and leave home, I will miss valuable moments with them,” confided Chris Hemsworth.
