In the latest episode of Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, the iconic former New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, showered Patrick Mahomes with praise, despite the Kansas City Chiefs’ setback against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 17.

During the discussion, Brady didn’t hesitate to commend the young quarterback, emphasizing Mahomes’ fiery determination and confidence displayed in the face of the Raiders. Reflecting on Mahomes’ performance, Brady expressed admiration for the Chiefs’ star player.

“Yesterday, you could see the fire in Patrick Mahomes. I love the way Patrick approaches it. His confidence as a player is evident. I don’t think he believes anyone can really stop him. I still have faith in what the Chiefs are doing, and I’ll never bet against a guy like Patrick because he’s such a phenomenal player and leader,” remarked Brady.

The conversation arose when Brady was questioned about whether Mahomes shares the same level of passion as he does.

However, the Christmas Day game wasn’t a smooth ride for Mahomes in Week 17. The Chiefs suffered a 20-14 home loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, marking one of Mahomes’ most challenging games in recent memory. Despite Mahomes’ commendable statistics, pressure from the Raiders’ defense, led by Malcolm Koonce and Maxx Crosby, posed significant challenges. Defensive plays by Jack Jones and Bilal Nichols, including a fumble return and an interception for a touchdown, played a decisive role in the game’s outcome.

Looking forward, the Chiefs are gearing up to face the Cincinnati Bengals in a crucial game on Sunday, December 31, at Arrowhead Stadium. In the current AFC West division standings, the Los Angeles Chargers are struggling with a 5-10 record and a 0.333 winning percentage, marked by a three-game losing streak. The Las Vegas Raiders boast a 7-8 record, a 0.467 winning percentage, and are on a two-game winning streak. Despite their one-game losing streak, the Kansas City Chiefs lead the division with a 9-6 record and a 0.600 winning percentage. The Denver Broncos, with a 7-8 record and a 0.467 winning percentage, are on a two-game losing streak. The Chiefs hold the best conference record at 7-3, while the Chargers have the lowest non-conference winning percentage at 0.300.
