These Are the Extravagant Christmas Gifts Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes Gave Their Chiefs Teammates

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, the dynamic duo of the Kansas City Chiefs, showcased their festive generosity by treating their teammates to lavish Christmas gifts. The latest installment of Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, spilled the details on the extravagant presents exchanged among the Chiefs’ players.

In a surprising and thoughtful move, Mahomes, the team’s star quarterback, went above and beyond by gifting the entire Chiefs offensive line personalized electric golf carts. Each cart was tailor-made with the player’s name and number, resulting in a unique and personalized experience.

“Pat got the entire Chiefs offensive line golf carts, which was pretty sweet. I was trying to get out of the parking lot, I think it was last Thursday, and everybody is just flying around. Those things are street legal, so everybody’s going about 35 miles per hour,” Kelce shared during the podcast.

According to People, the Chiefs shared a video on their Instagram, highlighting Mahomes’ thoughtful gesture with the caption, “QB1 took care of the guys who keep him clean 🎁.” The entertaining image depicted the offensive line navigating the streets in their vibrant red vehicles.

Kelce, on the other hand, infused his own distinctive style into the holiday festivities. Opting for unconventional gifts, he decided to present each teammate with a velour jumpsuit. “Got everybody velour jumpsuits, nice cozy, comfy, everybody can just, this winter, just enjoy a nice velour top and bottom. Just a hoodie and sweatpants, man. It’s so good,” he explained, having collaborated with luxury sportswear designer Daniel Patrick.

During the podcast, there was some lighthearted banter between Kelce and his brother Jason, who humorously expressed his dislike for velour. However, the camaraderie was evident as Kelce assured him, “I got you one too,” leading to Jason’s amusing response, “Actually if it’s from you, I’ll like it.”

As reported by ET, this friendly banter emphasized the close bonds and joy shared among the teammates. Despite the Chiefs facing a challenging Christmas Day game, the spirit of giving and brotherhood remained resilient. Mahomes and Kelce’s generous gestures not only highlighted the camaraderie among teammates but also added an extra layer of warmth to the holiday season.

As the NFL season progresses, these heartfelt moments contribute to the essential bond and chemistry for a successful team. Alongside the Chiefs’ festive celebrations, the podcast episode delved into Jason’s Christmas with the Philadelphia Eagles, featuring a white elephant gift exchange and quarterback Jalen Hurts gifting a stylish watch. The holiday vibes brought joy to NFL players both on and off the field.

While each player had a distinct experience on Christmas Day – Jason’s Eagles securing a victory and Kelce’s Chiefs facing a tough loss – the shared moments of gift-giving and celebration created lasting memories for these NFL stars. The holiday spirit, marked by extravagant gifts and playful banter, reflected the enduring bonds that extend beyond the football field for these professional athletes.
