While speaking about his character Warlord Dementus, Chris Hemsworth said:
“He’s a complicated individual. He’s a very violent, insane, brutal person who is born in the Wasteland, which is the world the ‘Mad Max’ saga takes place. He’s a product of his environment, he has been birthed into a space where it’s kill or be killed. He’s learned to rule with an iron fist. There’s a charisma to him and he’s a very manipulative charisma,” per Variety.
This prequel is the fifth entry in Miller’s Mad Max franchise. According to the film’s official plot description, the movie finds Furiosa being snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falling into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus.

Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by the Immortan Joe, the character played by the late Hugh Keays-Byrne in Fury Road. While the two tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
