Taylor Swift Hugs Tony Romo

“We’re doing very different things, aren’t we? It’s a different skill set,” Swift told Romo as the pair caught up after the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship win.

Taylor Swift and Tony Romo

It looks like there’s no “Bad Blood” between Taylor Swift and Tony Romo!

The singer, 34, and the NFL commentator, 43, were spotted discussing their “different” skill sets as they caught up after the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. The catch-up comes weeks after Romo accidentally called Swift the wife of Chiefs’ player Travis Kelce instead of his girlfriend, twice.

In a video posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) Sunday, Swift and Romo chatted it up on the field at the M&T Bank Stadium after the game as they were joined by Travis’ mother Donna Kelce.

“Well, we’re doing very different things, aren’t we?” Swift said as she smiled and turned to Romo. “It’s a different skill set.”

“Yeah,” Romo responded. The pair then gave each other a friendly fist bump.

Romo first mistook Swift for Travis’ wife while commentating on the Chiefs’ Dec. 10 game against the Buffalo Bills at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

As the camera panned from Travis, 34, to a supportive Swift in the stands, Romo said, “As you see, Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, in the audience — er, I’m sorry. Girlfriend!” he added, correcting himself quickly.

“Not yet,” a second commentator replied, laughing at Romo’s blunder.

Romo made the second blunder of referring to Swift as Travis’ wife on Christmas Day during the second quarter of the Chiefs’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

In an Instagram video posted by ESPN at the time, a camera panned to Swift as she stood up in the stands and cheered on Travis.

“And his wife loves it, I mean, girlfriend,” Romo said in the clip.

“You’ve been down that road with that before,” broadcaster Jim Nantz responded.

The Chiefs defeated the Ravens in the AFC Championship on Sunday, with the win advancing the team to the 2024 Super Bowl, which will be held in Las Vegas on Feb. 11.

Swift was pictured kissing boyfriend Travis in celebration of his win after the game on the field.

The “Karma” singer made her way to the field to greet Travis, who was surrounded by his teammates and cameras, and planted a kiss on the NFL star. Travis’ parents Donna and Ed Kelce, meanwhile, stood alongside the couple during the sweet moment.
