Kelce and the Chiefs went to the local club to celebrate Super Bowl win where he trolled the 49ers.

Mecole Hardman may have put the final nail in the San Francisco 49ers‘ coffin on Sunday, but it was Travis Kelce who rubbed salt in their wounds a few hours later. After wrapping up at Allegiant Stadium, the Kansas City Chiefs crew left for their celebration party.

The cavalry arrived at Zouk Night Club and enjoyed the performances from the Chainsmokers, Post Malone, and Quavo. At one point, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt brought the Lombardi Trophy on stage. Kelce followed Hunt to the center and grabbed a mic.

A collective confusion grasped the entire room as to what the All-Pro tight end was up to. In typical Travis Kelce fashion, he tried to rile up the audience by asking them to sing along. He trolled the 49ers with his rendition of Gary DeCarlo‘s song.

Before he whizzed off to party with the crew, the Chiefs were underdogs going into Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers. Despite a terrible first half, scoring just three points, they managed to draw level on the final whistle, forcing overtime. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes quick thinking gave wide receiver Mecole Hardman a 3-yard touchdown to bag their third Lombardi in 5 years.

On a personal note, Kelce did not have a great start to the night. He lashed out at head coach Andy Reid following just one catch in the first two quarters. The 34-year-old eventually managed to get going as the game progressed. He ended the game with nine receptions for 93 yards—10.3 yards per catch. Hardman had three catches for 57 yards and the game-winning touchdown.

While collecting the trophy, Kelce was asked about the bookmakers marking the Chiefs as underdogs before the game. Kelce replied:

No doubt in my mind. We’ve got the best quarterback [Mahomes] in the league, we’ve got the best offensive line in the league, and we’ve got the most determination out of any team in the NFL, and you saw all that tonight.

Now that the Chiefs have won back-to-back, their next goal would be three-peats. With Mahomes by his side, Kelce has assurance they can achieve it.

Kelce said:

I guess at this point I take it for granted, but I know we’re in every single game I’ve ever played in; no matter what the score is or how much time is left, that guy’s got magic in his right arm.
